You need a way to track the 5S scores people are turning in. The best way for any data like this is going to be excel. I know how time consuming, and difficult at times, it can be to work with excel. This is why I have take this task and done it for you.
This file is an excel spreadsheet, that will calculate all of the scores for you automatically. All you will need to do is have your employees turn in one of the scoring sheets. Then, you input the scores for that area.
The spreadsheet will calculate up the average 5S score for the week, and also plot them on their respective charts below.
There are different charts already set up for the different areas of 5S: Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
These charts are setup for weekly grading, which I highly recommend when first starting out. People need to get in the habit of doing inspections, and what to look for. Repetition is a good training method to make this happen.
