Before you begin to make changes in a process, you need to establish the current state, or baseline, of the process. This is where a form like the Production Process summary Form can help. It gives you a basic format to start recording some of this information.

You can use it to make notes about the tools, gauges, if they have them or not, or if they aren’t even needed. It is a pretty basic form which is flexible enough to be used in a multitude of ways.
